I don’t know how the barn quilt squares work, but I think I saw one on a barn right across the street from Megan’s camp!! Let me know where they all are!! I thought it was so cool! I had no idea MCC had that beautiful lush garden!

I have really enjoyed this waking tour of the garden’s on the MCC campus. It is so dry and hot here that there is not much blooming in my garden . It is a lovely back drop to your beautiful quilts. I love the barns and gardens on display with the beautiful painted quilt designs. It reminded me of the Dutch country outside of Philadelphia where the barns had the painted hex signs on them.Thanks for sharing this lovely day with us.

Great pics, Lorrie! What a cool idea to make gardens as quilt blocks. I love using the outdoors as a setting for quilt photos, esp when the fabrics are inspired by nature…your new quilts look beautiful!!
