Thank you for your reply. It really looked so much smaller than 2inch finished. I guess photos play tricks with the eye. I have all my fabrics cut to 2 1/2 and anxious to get started…….

I used 2-1/2” jelly roll strips and sewed with a 1/4” seam which makes the fabric measure 2” after it’s sewn.

Hi Donna
One jelly roll should be sufficient. A jelly roll is typically 2-1/2″ x 42″. To do the foundation piecing, I generally work with a strip that is 2-1/2″ x 22″. So you could use one strip of a jelly roll twice(cut in half) if needed.

It’s not stuffed as tight and he uses it like a bean-bag chair… I also put a zipper on one side seam so I can take the bags out and wash the cover as needed. I loved the pattern and how well written it was!!
