Can you soak your Weeks floss in warm water to remove the excess dye?

I’ve seen those patterns and they are very pretty. Unfortunately, DMC doesn’t have a good variegated variety. If you’re never going to wash it, it should be fine in the weeks dye works. Keep me posted!

DMC has variegated too, just not sure if I like them as well. They used all variegated Weeks and it’s sooo pretty:

They have all four seasons, and I’d love to do them all!

Jeanne, if you love that dachshund, you should see the one in the Stitchy Kitty book! I’ve been pondering what to stitch up with him.

I agree. I love Weeks Dye Works too, but it’s not colorfast, so I only use it on framed items or mainly cross stitch works. I’m curious, which pattern did you start?

I’ve been looking at all the variegated flosses too, both the Cosmos and Weeks Dye Works, which has such beautifully dyed colors. Oh, I LOVE those Cottage Garden Threads….I think I’d have to just admire them too…and I love the books….you’re going to get me into trouble, Lorrie :-)
p.s. I agree about Crabapple Hill…just started a new one of their designs!
