Paige, I send my sincere sympathy at the death of your Uncle Bobby. I am glad that you were able to share this post because I have enjoyed looking at all of your lovely quilts. I absolutely love the remake that you did on the antique basket quilt and also the echo and feather circles on the pointed dresden plate. I know that you have been doing the free motion quilting for a long time and the patterns that you create are amazing. I am hoping that the sun rays are not to difficult because I would really like to learn how to do that type of stitching.

I’m so sorry about your Uncle Bobby. Having also recently lost my Godfather, I know where you are coming from. You are right, we always feel like we never spent enough time with them.
On a more positive note, the quilts are beyond beautiful. I hope someone as talented as you rescues my unfinished quilt tops in the far off future.

You always feel that you should have done more when a loved one passes. I agree it is important to take time for the things that matter. Your quilts are so lovely, especially the dresden, wow. I love that quilt.

Dear Page, so sorry to hear of your Godfather’s death. Mine died nearly 20 years ago and, altho’ we weren’t close, I still miss him and I’m sure you’ll feel the same. At least you can cheer the Packers for him!
