Yesterday, Jeanne, my Oklahoma Sista from my Flickr Tea Group asked us how our spring projects were going. Well, Jeanne here’s what I’ve been doing and I’d have to say they are going pretty well. I made these cute tea towels with some of my leftover Grandmother’s Flower Garden blocks.
These make me want tulips, warm weather, and green grass. Speaking of tulips, I was too lazy to plant mine last fall and they’re trying to bloom in my garage! Can you believe that! I did see signs of my Hyacinths coming up yesterday..Yay!
Isn’t that the cutest little embroidered bunny?
So what are you working on to chase away the winter?

I agree, these are just darling! I love the embroidered centers too. I keep wondering how many more of these blocks you have left!
Did you say in an earlier post that you decided not to make your GFG blocks into a quilt and are finding other uses for them?
To answer your question…I’ve cut 240 sweet little 2-1/2″ squares for the Birdie Stitches blocks in beautiful spring colors! There may be snow outside, but there’s spring inside :-)

Yep Diane. I’ve decided to do other things with my blocks and quilt. I’ve got about 5 extra blocks left and a bit of the quilt left after I used it for the sewing boxes. Painful, yes, but at least I’m seeing results with them now and that makes me happy! I’m so glad you decided to do the Birdie Stitches. I can’t wait to see your blocks!

Hey thanks for mentioning me in your blog. I guess I’m famous now. I wonder if the paparazie(can’t spell) will be waiting out the front door. Better go get the sunglass and big hat. LOL
