What’s The Buzzzz Birdie?
The buzz is summer’s almost over…bummer:(
Russell’s already registered for school and then before you know it, I’ll be getting up at the crack of dawn. No more sleeping in. I LOVE to sleep in!
I’m actually ready for fall, like I’m sure most of the country is, since we’ve had extreme temperatures this year.
Birdie’s still hanging in there though. I love the sunflower idea and my mom suggested a bumble bee. That was a great addition to an already cute block. Thanks again Little Miss Shabby!

Your block is cute as always! I really like this block, and esp love the bee! Haven’t checked in w/ LMS yet, so I thought the bee was part of the design…nice little addition :)

I, too, like the bee and plan to incorporate it into my block. Aren’t these the cutest blocks? I am so pleased with mine from LMS and yours are inspiration for me also. I really enjoy combining the embroidery with my sewing….nice change of pace. Fills in a lot of minutes that I can not sit at my machine. And the results are so much fun!

I know exactly what you mean Wendi! i love embroidery. It adds an extra special touch to items and you can take handwork with you wherever you go. I’m having a lot of fun with the Birdie blocks.
