And…I’m restocking Art Gallery’s Oval Elements. Check the shop often for updates and new listings. Art Gallery released 4 new colors coming this June!

Be sure to Like us on FaceBook. I’ve been posting some pics of potential fabric choices. I like to hear your opinions on the fabric I stock in the shop. Or if you have suggestions, I’d love to hear that too.

But until all those newbies arrive, there’s plenty of patterns and fabrics in the shop…so let’s get sewing!!

I’ve created a few more Oval Element fat quarter bundles from Art Gallery fabrics and I wanted to share them with you today. All of our bundles are available in the Etsy shop.

These are like eye candy. I just wanna eat them up!

This fat quarter bundle of 16 has a range of colors, including my new favorite, Passionate Fushia.

A smaller bundle of 11 is also available in this range.

Looking for something with deeper colors? This set would make a nice addition for your fall quilting projects.

Or maybe something that reminds you of a Arizona vaca, which seems to be the only thing I can think of lately so it’s no wonder I assembled one reminiscent of the southwest!

And lastly..a bundle of tone on tones with 2 shades of each color.

Oval Elements make great fillers for all your sewing projects, so visit us at the shop to get yours! We have these and many more ready to ship. If you’d like to create your own fat quarter bundle, we’re also happy to help you do that too. Just convo us and we’ll help you get started.

A big thanks to everyone who came to see us at the Pride Of The Prairie quilt show last weekend. It was a huge success and we really love vending there. We were so busy I didn’t even get a chance to see the quilts but I heard they were beautiful…bummer.

I worked my mad skills on the booth. I seem to enjoy that process a lot. I love seeing the transformation from a backdrop and a table to something that draws people over..smiling and shopping of course. I wish I had taken a before pic.

Did a little promoting of the Crystal lake Modern Quilt Guild, which by the way is growing tremendously. We now have 61 members and its only our 1st year! I’d say that is amazing, right!

Took this great shot of the Sassy Strollers Quilt. So sweet…

And Paige managed to work her mad skills creating some more SewMod Stacks while we were there. You can find these and many more in the Etsy shop. I added about 12 new sets the other day. The SewMod Stacks pull from different fabric companies & different lines to mix & match. We like to show quilters that you can jump out of that pre-made bundle and mix it up. It’s ok to do your own thing! The SewMod Stacks tend to sell pretty fast. We offer them at a 15% discount.

It was really hard trying to keep Paige away from sneaking off with them for herself!

Next week were releasing a new SewMod pattern so stay tuned ya’ll. Until then have a great weekend!

We’re gearing up for the big show y’all. Madison Quilt Expo is only a few weeks away and were busier than heck getting things ready to make this years’ show a bigger success than last year. Many peeps have stepped up to help us make our goal. There is a mass frenzy of kitting and cutting. There’s so much fabric flying I thought we’d lose Daisy in the chaos..lol.

Our biggest seller is Art Gallery’s Oval Elements. The perfect filler & we have every color cut into fat quarters and bundled just waiting to find a new home. It’s a bundle of eye candy!….Take me please….

Adorable right? These owls whip up in no time and we have about 30 kits made. Halloween or for a child’s room. Contact me if you’d like first dibs on one. They come with a free pattern and are only $7.25!

And this baby bundle called Glimma will soon grow up to be a Cannon Beach quilt.

I have lots more to show you but if you know me by now, you realize I’m a little OCD when it comes to showing y’all the quilts unless they are completely finished. So I’m working on a few bindings over the next coupla days and hopefully be back soon to tease you with more quilty love!

The newest Oval Elements from Art Gallery arrived this week!

Smoke, Mist, Mustard, Vintage Blue, Parfait Pink & Beaujolais Wine. We Have almost the entire collection available in our shop. We can do any yardage or grouping you’d like. Give us a convo and we’d be happy to help you!

Also arriving were a few from the Poetica collection from Art Gallery.

Love this one!

Were expecting more in a couple of weeks so keep checking back with us.

I worked on a sample this week from the Hot Who! Hot Pads pattern and used this fabric for the body. These were simple and I completed them in an afternoon.

Next weeks to-do’s include baby shoes, cutting a quilt out and a bit of embroidery. But for now, I’m going to relax and pour over my latest issue of Mollie Makes.

Have a great weekend!

Paige picked out a really pretty set this weekend with grays, plums and some golden yellows. This selection has a variety of designer prints in it, including, Daisy Cottage, Heirloom ,and some Art Gallery prints.

Available in the SewMod and Etsy shop for 15% off original prices!

Only a couple more pics from the booth to go.

Another one of our good friends took on the sample of Madeline.

She did a great job of picking the fabrics out for this to be oh, so girly. But, I already knew she would. She has a great eye for those things. The background is Art gallery’s Oval Elements in Petal Pink. The dress is out of the Taza fabric line.

The quilt can be made into a wall hanging or framed without it’s border. I think it’s adorable framed! It reminds me of  pink bubblegum.

We found the pattern for these awesome needle cases over at SewPrimKhris’s blog and our friend Kelly whipped them up for us. They came out sooo cute. Just some scraps, felt, Velcro and a button. Great gifts for all your sewing friends. Each segment in the needle case could even be labeled for each needle size. I’m always getting mine mixed up.

Last is the Hoo Blankie. It has a Minkie backing for the cuddly, snuggle factor and a yard of fabric for the front. Easy, breezy blankie and it comes with a free pattern.

Bespoken by Art Gallery Fabrics arrived this week in the Shop. I’m a huge fan of Art Gallery Fabrics. The fabric is high quality and always beautiful and unique. This line is full of vintage florals and retro prints.

Here’s a few of my fave’s..

And the oval elements we received from Art Gallery for fillers coordinates perfectly with Bespoken.

And, yes, yay, hoot and holler, I got my cast off! Doc says I’m healing nicely. Now I’m off to physical therapy today @2. I’m a little nervous. I think it’s gonna hurt, but I’m ready to get back to normal. I have lots of catching up to do:)

Just look at this yumminess that arrived the other day!

Art Gallery Oval Elements

Modern, geometric blenders that are perfect by themselves or added to that favorite project.  I was surprised to find that they coordinated well with many of our existing fabrics.

This is Golden with Plum Victoria by Anthology Fabrics.

And Crocus with a Wrenly fabric, Ingrid in Gypsy.

We bundled them in 1/2 yards and fat quarter stacks. I may have to sneak this one into my personal stash:)

Have a great weekend everyone!

We placed a fabric order last week for Bespoken by Art Gallery Fabrics. This line is due out in September.

I love everything Art Gallery comes out with. Pat Bravo is the designer and you must check out her blog. Lots of inspiration and ideas.

Look at his cute bag pattern she has available.

And I’m seriously considering also putting an order in for theses bolts of blenders called Oval Elements. This pic is from Jeni’s Flickr page over at In Color Order.  I want these!!!

It looks like most of these would fit perfectly into the line we just ordered!

Have a great weekend everyone!
